- I am a native of suburban Detroit. Then I spent 9 years of my life living in the south and completely out of my element. Then I moved to DC for two years, and now I am back in the south which was always awkward for me, and after leaving for some time, I feel like I have now landed on another planet.
- I have two young kids and a teenage stepson
- I have no formal writing training, which is PAINFULLY obvious. English is my first language, but from the looks of my writing it appears to be my fifth.
- I have an unhealthy obsession with Jon Stewart and the Kardashian's
- I have a super-human ability to take any conversation and relate it to an episode of Friends.
- I DESPISE laundry, cleaning and cooking.
- I love beer!
- I do like crafts, being outside and TV. And taking pictures. I am not a photographer, I just don't have an eye for it. Nevertheless, I always have my camera.
- I have been told I am a good story teller. I think that only translates in person because my stories often involve flailing hand gestures and accents. But I'll do my best.
- I have a major LOVE/HATE relationship with running.
- Most of my days, my main goal is to get a shower.
